Really enjoyed my time here, loved the ambiance. The food was great, but I wouldn't say it's authentic Japanese food? but the karaage was freshly fried and seasoned, worth a try! :) More

We ordered the salmon nigiri and the chicken yakitori both were absolutely delicious! The salmon was super fresh and melted in the mouth, and the yakitori was perfectly cooked with amazing flavour. Friendly service and a nice relaxed vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to when I’m craving Japanese food in Vaucluse.

This is a nice little restaurant. The kitchen appears small but they offer a wide variety of Japanese-inspired dishes. The sashimi was pretty standard, but really enjoyed their signature rolls (Mad-Mex and Dynamite).

Great Japanese place with a decent range of items as can be seen by the pictures. Great sashimi, fresh fish and extremely well cooked tempura. It is also BYOB - when combined with the local bottleo this is a great combination. The overall impression is extremely favourable with some outdoor seating areas as well as good indoor seats which are a bit darker during day time.
Prices are a bit dear; but, considering the food quality, acceptable.
The location is pretty central but parking can be hellish in this part of town. Be prepared...

Washoku never fails to deliver. I’ve been here many times over the years and the same high standard remains.
A few times I’ve come and it has been too busy/no seats available.. so I’ve been turned away, so now I always try and make a reservation.
The staff are very pleasant and lovely.. and the food is great. So many options, sushi, soups, grills, or various share platters.
The quality is high, fresh and tasty. You leave feeling full, but not sick.
I love this place and return cause it’s reliable and some of the best Japanese in the area.

Good service.
Food were nicely presented, it would be even better if the ingredients were fresher.
Many of the wooden chopsticks looked tired and worn at the tips. Perhaps it’s time to replace them.

I ordered a salad bowl today. I didn't pay attention to it. I just wanted to ask the staff why there was so little food. But the waitress with glasses had a very bad attitude and looked very angry. I don't know what's wrong with her. In addition, when she ordered the food, she was also very careless. She ordered a very simple sashimi. I don't understand why the dish was served after 40 minutes. When I went to urge them for this sashimi, they found that they didn't order successfully.
